14 new routes for Easyjet

Easyjet have announced they are to launch 14 new routes across Europe in 2009, with new aircraft based at Liverpool and Manchester airports.

Andy Harrison, easyJet’s Chief Executive, said:  “We start the new year with 14 new routes which will be popular with sun seekers, city breakers and business travellers alike.

We are proud to keep growing in Liverpool and Manchester, where we will base additional aircraft that will boost the local economy, create much needed jobs and give even more destinations at our famously low fares.”

New routes include, Newcastle – Malta, Bristol – Corfu & Bastia, Liverpool – Naples, Bordeaux & Dubrovnik, Manchester – Corfu, Athens & Bastia.
