Best Hotels in Egypt

(0)

A poll conducted by www.luxuryegypt.co.uk at the end of 2008 has shown the following hotels were the best selling hotels in Egypt for 2008 and aim to be high on the list of the best hotels booked for 2009 holidays.

1.  Reef Oasis Beach Resort Hotel, Sharm el Sheikh

2.  Hilton Sharks Bay Hotel, Sharm el Sheikh

3.  LTI Dana Beach Hotel, Hurghada

4.  Sultan Gardens Resort Hotel, Sharm el Sheikh

5.  St Georges Three Corners Hotel, Sharm el Sheikh

A spokesman said, “72% of passengers who travelled to Egypt in 2008 have said they will aim to go back in 2009 due to the poor exchange rate of the euro, and the guaranteed sunshine in the Red Sea.  The best selling resort is Sharm el Sheikh, this is because there are more flights from UK airports than any other resort.  Many people still travel to Giza to see the Pyramids and Sphinx and to Luxor for luxury Nile Cruises ”.

“We have already seen a 45% increase in searches to Egypt resorts over the Christmas period and when people go back to work next week, we expect them to book their holiday, as yet again Egypt will be the best holiday destination to go to in 2009″.

www.luxuryegypt.co.uk ended by saying they expect a big rise in bookings to luxury hotels in egypt such as the Hyatt Regency and the Ritz Carlton, both in Sharm el Sheikh.

For hotels in Egypt it’s business as usual, even due to the recent clashes in Gaza/Israel.
