This morning the office of fair trading’s boss was moaning about Ryanair’s credit card charges. However Ryanair openly say if you have a Prepaid MasterCard, you will not incur any card charges.
So why not get one here? (anyone can have one) – Get a Prepaid MasterCard
Having said that, Ryanair, Easyjet and the other low cost carriers, all now charge for checked in baggage. Hand luggage remains free and you can carry up to 10kgs, enough for a weekend break, which is why most people use the low cost airlines.
This is when the airport security problem arises, as each passenger must have their suitcase checked, put all liquids in clear plastic bags and spend hours queuing to go through security. If the airlines made people check their luggage in as standard, and of course not charge like the scheduled and some charter airlines, then this would speed up waiting time at the airport.

When I fly I want to take as little as possible, maybe an iPod, wallet and passport, what else would you need on a flight anyway? Granted, some people have children or small babies so need extra things to keep them occupied, but even still, a small bag would suffice.
I’m surprised Ryanair havn’t thought of this before. They could remove the overhead lockers and install more seats, therefore increasing passengers and money.
