Majorca still favourite for Family Holidays

(1)

Once again Majorca hopes to become the UK’s top selling foreign travel destination in 2009.

Even though Majorca is in the EU it remains a firm favourite with British tourists.  Daily flights leave from most if not every UK airport and with flying time just over 2 hours, it is not too long a flight for familes with kids.

Majorca hotel’s are also second to none as they have been serving Brits for over 40 years.  There are approx 1000 hotels on the Balearic Island of Majorca, and most are bookable through the UK’s leading travel agents.

Holiday to Majorca were up 8% in 2008 in comparison with 2007 and even due to the economic downturn, and the poor exchange rate, they hope to increase passenger numbers even further.
